Default Getting fshop to actually work

I've read the posts, read the instructions but there must be something I am just not grasping about importing the items into my store. I've added an image, placed them on several different items, t-shirts, mugs, hats & bags. All set to go as far as I can tell. They show up just fine at the cafepress site. Try as I might I just can't figure out what the popup window wants me to enter to grab the items from cafepress to bring into my shop. I can get some but never all. Do I have to do it by category that shows up on the cafepress site or what? Do I have to create exact categorys BEFORE I import them or what? Please help.

One other thing, when I first set things up, I used the same email as for my admin on the forum but forgot to put in the forumer2 thing in the box. Couldn't go back and change it so I used a different email addy. Could this be causing the problems I'm having with trying to import from cafepress? I think everything should be ok but not 100% sure. Ideas?

In the window that pops up after hitting import from cp, I've put in many different things, the id of my shop (poetwares), various words like apparel, housewares etc (apparel does bring in items, but not MY items, it has someone elses images on them so i have no idea where its getting them.) The way I interpret the instructions is that I put my id in the popup which is poetwares, but that doesnt work at all. I've tried using the url to my shop, that doesnt work. One other thing, on the settings tab, general options, it says CafePress.com StoreID, is this just the id i made or is it the whole url such as Creative Symmetry Online Store

The post about setting up an fshop is pretty good, but it sort of assumes you know some things. It would be an improvement if it went step by step detailing each step with an example as if you were setting up a store. Showing the info actually input into windows and spaces for getting it all done.

I figured out how to get my stuff into it. for anyone that needs help heres what i did. when it asks for your store id on the import to fshop window, i put in poetwares/apparel. poetwares is my store id. it somehow seems to be a directory problem ergo the forward slash. i only tried apparel and got everything i had from other categories as well...so not sure this is exactly the RIGHT fix but it does import MY stuff i created. now the only problem is the one everyone else seems to have and that is that when on your fshop and you click on an item i get the 'Get store name query failed' screen. oh well...one step at a time.....but i have yet to see in this forum a solution to this. I just dont understand why i have seen so many people with these two problems receive so little support. I really like what i've seen so far as far as the forum goes but holy cow....if your gonna try and get people to do the fshop then at least have it work as its supposed to. I'm sure (at least i hope) your trying your best to get it resolved but from what ive seen on the forum this had been happening for some time. That kind of bothers me a little. Anyway, i hope it all gets resolved cause i really like the idea, i just cant implement it in the way advertised.
