Default What's the catch?

Forumer.com's TOS says we (who use Forumer.com's services) cannot post any links, banners, logos and so on, that point to a site where we make money.
And I read a Forumer.com team member say that (in my own words) it's not cool for us to make money using Forumer.com's services and for Forumer.com to not make any money off it.

So I'm wondering what the catch is with Fshop? Does Forumer.com receive a commission from the sales that we make? Why would it allow us to advertise our Fshops when it doesn't allow us to advertise any other money making scheme?

And if Forumer.com does make a commission of our sales, what percentage is that?

I would really like these answers, since some of us are seriously using www.cafepress.com and it is only good business etiquette to have these answers.

I haven't been able to find any information on this in Search here in the board.

I'm not trying to be difficult here, I think Forumer.com is one of the best services out there for free hosting. I'm just concerned about how Fshop affects me, the wannabe business man. *smirks*

Thanks for your help!

You can use it with no catches. Forumer allows you to do this and I hope you gain some good money with it

And you can help other people having trouble in the Support section. Isn't that all which counts?

I haven't done much with my fShop... BUT! I have just completed a course in Publication Design and I think I'm much better equipped to create quality designs and so forth for the shop.

Good to hear that there still good things left in the world... (man that sounds pessimistic! lol)

Think positively. Act positively. And leave no fingerprints.
