I went to my admin screen to reset a user's password (on her request), and when I clicked submit, the screen that came up was NOT a confirmation, but it was the main page of the forum!

In fact, when I clicked on any link on the admin menu, all that I got was the main admin page in the right pane.

This is a new problem since access to the admin page was restored earlier this week.

Help!

(On second thought, maybe I caught the guys in mid-update...)

I've been having some admin CP feature issues also with my FFF IPB s3 forum too the last couple days since the server work started and the direct link was changed. I think the work is still going on, might have some links to correct with the link changes.
Some of the admin CP settings don't "stick" or update like the ban settings for example. I hope that gets fixed soon.
Also uploading or access to uploaded files aren't working at all, like for custom avatars or personal photos.
Is that the same with yours?

Badboy, I've noticed that some of the admin things that I've worked with haven't 'stuck' either, so I'm just going to wait until the weekend is over before I check on it again. I'm figuring it's because they are still working on things.

yes, we are doing a lot of work on the servers, and it will interferer with some settings. The work should be done shortly, however

However, just for safe measures, I will ask them to looking into the new new problems.

The Ban settings bug as been confirmed and sent to the coders.

Its actually all settings I've tried so far in the admin CP, not just the ban settings.
Any settings there that I try to alter and save, if I check afterwards they didn't actually change or stick. Its like its in "read-only" mode.

The other issue right now is that uploaded images like custom avatars aren't working.
An attempt to do so produces this error message:The upload failed.

i am a admin of a fourm from your site support
but mistakly i change some admin setting and now me also not login into my from it say To login you must activate your account.

Update: no change so far noted in the ForumForFree IPB forum admin control panel inability to save settings in a variety of sections. They don't "stick" if you check then after you change them.
Also still no upload abiliity like for custom forum avatars and old uploaded ones are not accessable or displayed.

Will the server work be ongoing on for some more days before these other issues are addressed?

The ACP log ins are fixed. You just need to clear your cache and cookies though.

We're still working on the ban settings, however.

I am going to verify the custom avatar uploads.

Thanks for the update.
Please remember its not just the ban settings, its most if not all of the admin CP sections that aren't "sticking" including: Security&Privacy, CPU Saving, and other sections

I do note that custom avatar image and photo uploading is now working today - thank you.
Old uploaded custom avatars however are missing for members, not a biggy since each can now re-upload a new one.

Getting slow forum response at this hour, but might be due to the continued server work?

Yes, he's running some scripts on the server. Avatars are fixed.
