Default Missing "last post" header

I've noticed on my forum that the little blurb that contained the title of the topic last posted to in a forum is now missing. Now, it just shows the last post date and the last poster, but no topic header info.

Same problem here. It sure was better with the last post/thread note.

I don't think that is supposed to be there anyways. I know the last post in: <thread title...> (on the index page) is supposed to be on the IPB forums, but phpBB is coded differently and it doesn't show up. It's the same way on the Forumer boards as well.

Well, for almost two years in the life of my forum until very recently, that blurb has been there. To say that it is not supposed to be there suggests that it was broken all that time, even before they transferred FFF to Forumer. I'm inclined to believe that some recent change broke this, and not the other way around.

Completely agree!

Whilst the performance in general has improved a lot in the last days I really miss that line in the index page. It makes a lot of sense as it shows in which thread the last post appeared, rather than just the person who posted it.

Pitty that Support wants to make us believe that they "fixed" something when they clearly "lost" a good feature.

There's a little arrow that will take you to the thread in the header. That's supposed to be there. Nothing is wrong there... this is also there on Forumer's phpBB boards as well.

Yes. The arrow is there, and it was there before. But, the topic that was posted to last was also there (on the right, above the name and the date). In other words, the arrow is different from this blurb that we're talking about.

I find it hard to comprehend that Support does not acknowledge that it is different to what it was like before. Before we not only had the little arrow we also had a thread name listed for the last post which you could directly click on and then would take you inside that thread. That was a very good feature!
