I have noticed recently that when I get the automatic message that a topic has been replied to, the link that is sent is not working. For example, I received a notification with a link of the form:

http://armorbearers.p4.forumforfree.....php?p=888#888

This link did not work. However, when I removed the prefix "armorbearers" to get this:

http://p4.forumforfree.com/viewtopic.php?p=888#888

The link works just fine.

This prepending of the forum name (or directory) is new and is causing a problem.

SAME problem here. Wrote about it 5 weeks ago. Attitude eleveated the issue, but nothing has happened since.

Instead I was banned for complaining about the mess this support is. Very bad. If thats the only thing they can do to make problems go away it should really make you think.

Anyways, back to topic:

Attitude, our forum STILL sends out the wrong thread-reply notifications. Nothing has been fixed. Do you think it will ever be fixed or will it just be like this forever?

Hi,

I have verified this, and I have sent out a reminder / updated the issue. This appears to be on all servers.... We're working on the other FFF issues (such as the connections problem and slowness, etc) and should be a few days for us to sort this out.

I hope your working on other bugs too then such as settings.Such as guests not viewing others subjects.They are viewabl;e so hope this is one of the fixes as well.

An update to the problem... The prefixing of my forum name has been removed. However, there appears to be an extra slash in the URL between the host name and the actual page.

Yeah, but the link still works though. It will go back to the coder for fixing, however.
