The only problem I see with that is that if they go back and do this for your forum, that sets a precedent for everyone to want the same done for their forums if they get hacked. So it would contradict Forumer's past policies.

If I am in the wrong here, I am sure Attitude will let me know.

Hiya Lynnis.
Good point well made, and thanks for the input - appreciated.

But, if the FFF team don't want to open the floodgates, they don't have to - they're the boss, yeah?
I'm only asking here in public because it's impossible to contact anyone outside of this forum - which is a good call in my experience!
Still, the team could PM/email me me if they can help and simply lock/delete the thread. I'd prefer that.
As I said, there's cash involved - and I'm willing to pay an individual for their time or donate an amount to a worthy cause. Any charity.
There's my offer - a donation to a worthy charity or an individual.
$50? $75?

I'm also trying my hardest to help the process myself - something that I haven't seen here from any user through extensive searching.
I'm not trying to say we're a 'unique' case - I just can help someone help me - I'm not sitting here saying 'do this' or it's your job' or somesuch. I have too much respect for that.
I'm trying to show I don't expect someone to work for me as if I'm 'due' it. I genuinley want to make this happen with as little work from anyone but myself.
I have the skill and the perpetuate patience to help make this job easy. Then I'll disappear for good and stop bothering everyone!

*poof* thread vanishes - no way for anyone to quote it in future.
