I am also getting this same SQL error message and my FFF forum doesn't load today.
Must be a server problem affecting all the FFF forums.
I hope the support staff can resolve this problem quickly today, please!

Yes I noticed it came back up with the hour, but then this support forum was down at that point. Must have been some temporary server issues that were quickly resolved.

I guess there was internet connection problem. This support forum is on the main server and was working normally all the time till now

My FFF IBP forum has been working perfectly for the past several months, but this afternoon it now has a page of nothing but MYSQL Error messages, such as:
mySQL error: Can't connect to local MySQL server ...


I see other FFF forums right now have exactly the same problem, indicating a server problem.
Please fix this server problem as soon as possible today.

Hi BadBoy0,

Sorry for the downtime, I think it was about 20-30 minutes. We did some software upgrade on the server at that moment. Now all must be running okay
The upgrade was needed for better security and performance.

Seemed to have the database error messages for a couple hours.
Glad to see it was only a temporary issue related to server maintenance.

I hope it can be resolved soon today, the server performance over the past several months has been extremely reliable and fast. I hope it stays that way.
