| Junior Forumer ![]() | Thank you very much, Kurisu for your response and attention to the FFF s2/s3 server problems! ![]() A forum status indicator for the FFF servers as is done currently for the forumer servers would be very much appreciated, thanks for that too. |

| Junior Forumer ![]() | I see Limez has posted in a new thread today about the FFF server problems and says that some forums allowing guest posting and no registration checking is causing spamming that is overloading the servers. I hope that some permanent solution to that problem like moving those forums that enable guest posting off of s2 and s3 and disable guest posting as an option to maintain good performance. |

| Junior Forumer ![]() | I see our forums returned late yesterday, however the problems have not been solved. The forums are still so slow as to be unusable and about 30% of the time you will get the old SQL errors. What can be done to solve this problem Limez? http://s2.forumforfree.com/index.php...ather&act=home |

| Junior Forumer ![]() | Thanks for the update, Kurisu! I have noticed that my forum on FFF IPB s3 server came back up yesterday and the performance has been steadily improving. Today so far the speed has been very good, I hope it stays that way reliably. Thanks again! ![]() The other issue remaning is the clock on the server is still running fast, so gradually gets farther and farther ahead of realtime for the time displayed with the posts. Its currently almost 20min fast. If the server's clock could be reset periodically to the correct time that would be great! Last edited by BadBoy0 : 04-06-2007 at 02:02 PM. |

| Junior Forumer ![]() | http://s2.forumforfree.com/index.php...ather&act=home Once again is either not responding or is giving me the SQL error again. What gan be done to resolve this issue so we don't see our forums going down all the time? |

| Junior Forumer ![]() | Kurisu, Thank you for taking a look, seems to be running fine at the moment, but it was real bad when I posted the message. Sorry if I jumped the gun and gave a false alarm. |

| Junior Forumer ![]() | I notice the FFF forum servers are still intermittent today and the past few days. There are periods where the speed slows way down and at times gives the "too many connections" error message, and other times when the performance is fast. Of course, ideally the servers could be worked on so they are reliably good performance all of the time. I would take the periods of slowdown/errors as warning sign. I'm getting several periods of extreme slowdown and "too many connections" errors on my FFF IPB s3 forum this afternoon, currently 1:30PM PacificTime. Speeds back up periodically. | Junior Forumer ![]() | Yes indeed, at times many errors and then everything is very fast again, very strange. Was beginning to think it was me. |
