Apparently it appears to me the server was restored from a backup that was made about a week ago so the forum state is what it was at that time. Fortunately for me very little posting was made on the forum last week due to the long periods of unusablity during that time from error messages and extreme slowdown. The performance has been good in the past 24 hours since the server came back online, and if it stays good performance now its an OK tradeoff.

The only remaining issue that others still have as well is the server's time of day is about 15min fast and keeps getting further off gradually. So if server clock could be adjusted periodically even automatically with syncing to an internet timeserver that would be great.
Thanks to the support staff for the quick server work yesterday!

Error: Unable to connect to database on 'localhost' with user 'p2forum_forums'
Please check your settings in multiforums.config.inc.php!

Don't really know why I'm bothering as now ALL of my users have left.

If you can't fix it I would be more than happy to be migrated to one of your Forumer forums.

Two post have been deleted. This thread and this forum are for Forum For Free users ONLY.

I didn't wake up and decide to arrest you. You made that decision. Just like I didn't wake up and decided to give you an infraction or ban you. You made that decision by breaking the rules. You are just more paper work and overtime in my life.

stupid question, but could the phpbb critical error have something to do with the fact that the entire phpbb.com (as opposed to the fff server) site is completely down - or are we dealing with separate entities?

My IPB forum on FFF server 3 is also getting frequent slowdowns and some error messages again yesterday and today, after great performance for the past 3 weeks since the server was restored/rebooted. Can whatever was done back then be done again soon and perhaps periodically to maintain the good performance.

Glad to hear Limez has returned, can he work on a permanent solution for this FFF IPB server3 issue, soon please?
Also please reset the server's clock its been running fast for months and is now over 15min ahead. Thanks.

The IPB FFF servers s2&s3 have progressively gotten worse performance this week. Extremlely slow or "too many connections" error messages. This is the same problem the server had last month, but was fixed early in March after the servers apparenlty were rebooted/restored.
Could this please be done again today if possible, to get the good performance back like the past several weeks?

http://s2.forumforfree.com/index.php...ather&act=home is unusable at this time, connection either fails or gives you the SQL "to many connections" Error. I don't mean to be a pest, but we are now days into the problem and I'm not even sure a tech or Limez has read this post as there has been no responce.

Our Forums are down again, Please help!!!

Yes please help restore the performance of the FFF IPB servers they have the same ultra-slow and "too many connections" error messages now that they had a month ago. Its been happening often for almost a weeknow.

I hope that top priority can be assigned to deal with this issue, hopefully with a permanent fix soon. FFF IPB s2 and s3 servers are affected.

Support staff, please post the status of the FFF IPB server work as soon as possible. Thanks.
