Unhappy My forum has been broken for weeks -.-
Hi,

my forum, Penguin Portal has refused to load with the following message for weeks now

Unable to connect to database on 'localhost' with user 'p3forum_forums'
Please check your settings in multiforums.config.inc.php!

on the rare occasions that i do actually get in, all i do is quickly make an announcement saying that it is still not working correctly.

It is likely that if you try it as you read this message, it will not load, so feel free to click the link for a working example -.-

My forum is very large, i think i have around 700 users and a few thousand posts, so this may be the cause

I am very resistant to start a new forum as this one is for a game, and is the oldest one ever for that particular game, and thats where it gets its reputation

If you could help fix these problems, please do

Once again, have you read the other threads? What you're describing has been an ongoing problem for everyone on the FFF servers, and has yet to be resolved.

No, but it gives you a pretty good idea of the likelihood (or otherwise) of your receiving an answer.

Yes. That forum i used to go on,...but sadly the localhost thing has come up and wrecked it....
