Unhappy Cannot create new Category

When trying to create a new category for my forum it will appear in the ACP forum control page but not on my website. I am selecting the 'visible' option when creating the category but when i try to view it in my forum this message displays:

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

Sorry, some required files are missing, if you intended to view a topic, it's possible that it's been moved or deleted. Please go back and try again.

Does anyone know what i am doing wrong?!

the website link is: www.onepiecemissing.com

Please can someone help me?!!

You have to make a Forum on the board with permissions too before the Category is seen on your board.

Thanks for replying - ive just figured it out!
One more question - do you know how to change the whole forums name from the preset 'forum name' to what i want to call it i.e. 'OnePieceMissing'?!

If you go to the site and into the FORUM(NEW) page you will see what i mean!

Wait, I think I remember now. On the AP you have to click on confirugations I think. Then you can change the Board Name. But I am not real sure actually.

Our forum just went down. We are broadcasting a football game in 2 hours. Our fourm is where that broadcast is launched from. We have got to get it back up immediately if not sooner.

I notice a lot of the FFF forums went down this afternoon, must be a server wide issue.

I have noticed that many people either cannot access their Boards or they are very slow. I have trouble accessing mein own boards particularly FFF I have many complaint by members or persons who are not members but come to read that my board on FFF is either unobtainable or very slow. This has happened many times since Forumer is taking over FFF, Forumer say we are lucky to have boards??? What is roót cause of these problems?? I do not know. Whither boards are pay or free they experiances the same.

Our board was working just fine until about two minutes before I made this thread.

The reasons are not the issue. The game that we are about to broadcast is. I must have our forums back on line.

Same with my FFF IPB server3 forum, it was working fine earlier today and now is down in the past hour. My forum has had good performance for the past nearly 2 weeks since the database move issues were dealt with. I hope this down time today is short and not longer than a few hours.

I just checked the FFF website forum directory and noted that the IPB server 2 and server3 access is down including directory listing. IPB server 1 and the PHPBB three server directories are working however.

So looks like IPB servers 2 and 3 are being worked on for some reason right now?
It would be nice to have a heads-up and estimated down time period message posted for maintenance on servers.

the answer is simplicity any page that is not opening in time of 4 min is down, It cannot be just one page that is obvious, Since this is being reported by more person and more Occurrences It is assuption that the servers are either down for maitenance or down through software or hardware fault. All time I write I am a trying to open page it is found but not opening.

How down does it need to be before its called down? it seems down enough for me. This is not problem I can work from my forumer board. THis I am opening when I suspect FFF have problems.

That's not what I asked. You said they would not be back up in time for our game broadcast. How do you know this? Do you have any official information at all?

If not, I need someone with info to respond ASAP. I am running out of time!

I hope the FFF IPB server3 forums come back up soon. It appears its FFF IPB server 2 and 3 that are down right now. Can an estimate be posted here and when server 3 is expected to be back up?
