I'm very grateful to forumer for getting our site up and working again: http://p2.forumforfree.com/weaversreunited.html. However, after being absolutely fine for a few days it is now operating very very slowly. It takes an inordinately long time for a post to appear once you have clicked on Submit. Is this just happening on our site or are others having this problem? Basically it appears to be permanently "Loading" even when you have arrived on the thread you want or your message has appeared.

Oh dear! I spoke too soon. Our forum is down again. Can anybody give us some idea of why it comes and then goes again?

Please expect minor downtimes within the next few days, guys. Forumer and FFF are moving to a larger data center. Sorry for any inconviences.

Yes I understand, but thats what they said yesterday too. Which day was this happening?

Anyway, I just posted in case that isn't the problem and nobody realized. Its happened alot, not that this is a good thing but I don't care as much now because most of my members have been *******d of the issues and everybody is pretty much used to it now. It is a pain being down so often lately but as long as I'm assured that the technicians here are doing their best to solve the issue once and for all, its really all I can ask.

in addition to the data center downtime (which should be quick) some of the forumforfree servers have a software or hardware problem .... we will be working on resolving this issue to make sure that FFF servers will run properly.

Thank you Limez. Hopefuly it will not be much longer. I would like to enjoy this service and drop the riot act, its just been difficult to do so with our service going down so often. I guess i could be more understanding...

Hopefuly soon the FFF servers will be running smoothly, similar to the other Forumer servers which seem to be alot more stable.

What do you consider "minor"? We've been down for two hours now. To me, that's not minor.

Then I am sorry that you feel that way.

http://forum.forumer.com/showpost.ph...4&postcount=40 There's a post that Limez made. You need to understand that there will be downtimes with a mass server move. ALL servers are being moved to a larger facility. You'll just need to hang tight please. Thank you for your cooperation.

I'm sorry, Edwin, its quite easy for somebody like YOU, to come into this situation completely out of nowhere and say that without having a clue. We've been down off and on for weeks, while I do understand, I also understand that it is not a perfect world and the FFF forum owners have every right to be upset while losing members and post count, which is becoming frequent. Our hosts have been aquired by Forumer, and if not we would have lost our forums. These are still changes that we did not ask for. Most of us are upset nonetheless.

And yes, you are here to "support us." Posts like this one that you made are not offering support, you are trying to make US, feel badly, for simply showing concern about our forums.

And support didn't speak up too terribly much a while ago when the forums started going down alot.

Not that I'm really upset at this time, I'm still not going to listen to some idiot tell me that I should just go with the flow, when I don't even know what that is. How about a little bit of respect?
