I had a new member register with my forums and I noticed that I hadn’t received a notification email from my forum. So I assumed that there was something was wrong with my email address, so I decided to change my admin email address.
I now have a serious problem, after changing my admin email address to one that I know works, for some reason I haven’t yet received my validation email so I am unable to gain full access to my forums.
I can login but I can't post or gain access to my admin cp not untill Ive validated.

My forums are on server #2 hosted by Forum For Free.

Can some one please advise?

very worried.

Just to let you know;

The URL is now pointing to the correct site (Unanderra Hostel Forums). I dont know if it was because I cleared my cookies or you have done something.

From time to time I keep hitting the ‘Resend Validation Email ’ link. But I am not being sent the email so at the moment I can’t access my forum ACP.

Just an update:

I tried registering myself as new members compete with a new email address. All went well until that is, the email verification process failed.

I know that the option for email verification in my admin cp is set to on because I set it, plus the fact that it tells you when you are registering that you’re being sent an email to verify your address.

I don’t understand why the emails are not being sent out, strange.

Just an update:

I’m still not receiving my Validation / Confirmation emails. I have tried nearly everyday when conditions allow, but still no joy.

I’ve noticed that when ever I click the "login" or the "Resend Validation Email" button/ links I automatically get a pop-up advert. I don’t know if this has been put there by former or maybe its part of the original hack at fff.

Unand, I think a lot of forumforfree sites are having problems with the email validation. You are not alone - not that that is much consolation.
