If you are "shouting" by posting all in CAPS, in bold, excessive exclamation marks or even in very large letters, you are to be considered rude and often you will be told to calm down before you are given any type of support.

However, if you are friendly, kind, and courteous you will find that you will receive kind and courteous support in return.

English and grammar: Please try to use your best English while requesting support or while reporting a bug, etc. It is often very difficult to read "txt talk". If we cannot understand what you are saying, do not expect to be supported. However, we do understand that English may not be your first language.

Conduct a Search and read over our FAQ's: 95 percent of all answers can be found by conducting these simple tasks. It is also the quickest method to finding the answer you need rather than replying on staff or other members for a few hours or even days. Many, many users make a thread without using their head to report the same bug that has been reported many, many times. These threads will be merged into one large thread with out questions.

Details, Details and Details: When requesting for support or reporting a bug to us, please be as specific as possible. Provide a link to your forum, screen shots, any error messages, and a small summary of the problem. This makes this a lot easier on us to confirm bugs or to assist your better. If you are reporting a bug, we often will confirm whatever it is that you are reporting then FWD the report to our technicians.

If you just say "This doesn't work" then, we're just trying to find a needle in a hay stack and we will ignore your thread until further information is given to us.

Posting in the correct forum: Also helps out a lot as well. Users think they can ask for help anywhere. Unfortunately, this is not the case. If you are unsure, your board says what forum software you are running on on the bottom of your forum.

i did all this but still no joy.

Thanks for the test attitude, but it’s still not Resending the Validation Email to admin, even though the email address is correct.

Can you please explain what you mean by "Resending the Validation Email to admin"?

I do not think there's such a thing. That's only possible if you set your user activation to Admin. Then, the administrators as well as the newly registered users will both get an activation e-mail. Administrators do not get an e-mail if the activation is set to "User" or "None"

I am the admin of the forum and I decided to change my admin email address.
after changing it to one that I know works, for some reason I haven’t yet received my validation email so I am unable to gain full access to my forums.

I can login but I can't post or gain access to my admin cp untill Ive validated.

I *so* wish I had read this topic before naively deciding to change my Admin Email Address (and thereafter, never receiving my promised validation email address.)

Now this is not to appear impolite, but is there ever a time when Limez actually ISN'T actually on some grossly extended holiday?

I'm not being funny - but it seems every single time I have ever need support, (eg: now / 2 months ago / 6 months before that) he's jetted off on some grotesquely extended vacation which leaves me & everyone else, high & dry for weeks, with nothing to comfort us but the dulcet and monotonous promise of powerless moderators, foretelling his eventual return.

I mean serious... even Jesus himself didn't wait this long to come back.

If I have to wait weeks again, I shall be an extremely unhappy bunny indeed.

Oh. My. God.

This issues has gone unresolved since the 27th of September last year!

That is almost beyond beleif! (Except, this is forumers were talking about, so is therefore, entirely beleivable.)

Now, moderators... I am greatful for all the unpaid, largely thankless work you do around here, whilst Limez jetsets off on the skimmings from our google-ads (or google-ad removals) - leaving you to deal with his irate customer-base; so I ask that you please not interpret my impatience with him as a personal or impolite attack.

It's simply a statement in fact. I am extremely unhappy with the abomnible (dis)service he half-heartedly provides, between frequent and inconceivably long holidays.

I would PLEAD to you all, to please ensure that this bug is raised to Limez' immediate attention and given the highest level of priority upon his long-heralded resurrection.

Also, might I suggest to him, that he put aside his reservation about security, and assign someone he trusts, to act in his absence, to deal with these issues, and that they be given the full and uninhibited ability to do something. Anything!

The current system is utterly farcical.

This is an observation. Not an attack.

Hello,

I understand that you are frustrated that this issue has not been resolved. However, I assure you that the Support Staff is properly addressing the issue at hand. Once the bug has been completely verified, it will be reported to Limez and the technical staff as soon as possible.

Currently, we are trying to verify that the bug is indeed in existence. The more details, screenshots, etc. that can be provided will help expedite the process.

Limez is not the one to blame at this, nor is anyone else at fault. We do apologize for the inconvenience and problems this has caused yourself and your members. This bug will be fully verified by the staff and will be reported to our technical team once we can absolutely prove that this is a problem caused by the Forumer system.

Once again we apologize and ask that you do not take this frustrations out on the administration or other individuals. We are doing our best to help resolve this issue as best as possible.

Hi Limez
My forums are on server #2 hosted by Forum For Free.

Attitude
, you have registered on my forums. So... as a test, how about you re-visiting and changing your email address and see if you receive the validating email.
I thought it was only happening to admin’s, didn’t realize it was happening to all.
