Dear admin,

I've made the decision to pay for my own site and forum; hence, I deeply need your help.

My FFF forum is:

http://p2.forumforfree.com/alecruby.html

It has 1300 members; I don't want the members and posts to be lost when I build my new site, so I hope to transfer the FFF forum backup to the new site's forum.

Is this possible? I have not heard from FFF contacts, and only found out today that FFF was bought by the larger, better Forumer.

I am aware that Forumer is quite busy recently with the moving of FFF to forumer. I hope to hear an answer as soon as possible. Certainly, I'll pay for the backup if it is part of the service.

Thank you for your time and effort.

ps. you can email me the data.

We were told last week that back ups would be available in about 2 weeks. I believe they will be free of charge as a gesture of goodwill by Forumer.

I am also looking to go to a paid host.

I would guess the priority at the moment is resolving the major technical issues with the transfer but I hope that those of us looking to move to paid environments will get our back ups after things like admin controls and new user registrations are restored.

That's good news.

Hope that there is an official announcement soon.

Have upgraded my webhosting to paid so that I can host my own forum, but was worried about losing all members and messages I currently have.

Just have one question about any back ups.

Will they be current or done from a certain date?

I only ask as my forum is very active, over 100 messages today already and I dont want to lock it until a back up is ready.

Hope someone will answer this query.

Forumer doesn't release database, sorry.

And in the future please do not bump up ancient threads but create your own in the correct section according to your forum software.
