Default FFF paid backups

Dear Admin,

First of all, I would like to thank you and your team for saving our forums from becoming completely lost after the hack and crash at FFF. I was very worried about this, but am now very happy to see that everything has been restored. However, I would like to implement the plan that I had from when my forum was still hosted by FFF for a number of reasons, which is to move my forum to my own host. I went on a 2-month holiday and planned to do this when I'd be back, but by then FFF was hacked and crashed. I already purchased my own webspace and domain, and even though I understand it is not your policy to sell the database I hope you can make an exception for some of us ex-FFF'ers, as you did in this particular case. It is not that I do not appreciate your services, but my forum has reached a level in which not having full controll of it all isn't responsible. FFF used to offer an option to purchase the database for 25$ if the postcount was less than 10.000, while it would cost more if there were more post. Could we arrange something in that trend? Please let me know. Thanks.

I am sure Limez is making this exception to all FFF forum owners. It might take a week or two however.

That would be great, it's ok if it takes a little longer. However, would the posts made in that period of one or two weeks be included in the database? That way the forum can remain active untill the actual data-transfer. Hopefully Limez can provide the necessary transfer and payment information so we can get things started. Thanks in advance.

By what was told to me, it seems to be implied that our files will be made available to us at no cost.

That is my understanding that your files will be made availible to you at no cost. However, that could be from 1-2 weeks away to more than that I actually do not know.

Hi Limez,

me too, I would like to join the requests for a board backup.

Just before the crash of FFF I have planned to move our board to another host, due to our needs to expand to an independent site and I have requested a backup at the support site of FFF. The hacker attack has put this to an end though. I really appeciate your efforts to recover all the boards and believe them in good hands now. But I would still stick to our plan to migrate our board and beg you to provide us with a backup (SQL) of the database.

A couple of weeks is fine with me. Please tell me how and when I can get the backup. Thanks in advance.

My questions are similar.

I am happy to pay the required fee. How do we agree a date and how will I get access?

Many Thanks

To Limez

Please... just need an answer. I really do greatly appreciate that you have recovered the forums but understand now that I need a level of support and response that can only come from a paid provider.

Before I pay for the back up, I just need assurance of how I will get access and that I won't lose many posts from my forum members.

Thanking you kindly in anticipation of your reply.
