Hi

My forum on server 4 is working (p4.forumforfree.com/pdpa.html) (a PHBB forum)

However my forums on server 2 & 3 are returning the FFF homepage (these are IPB forums)
s2.forumforfree.com/superdarts.html
s3.forumforfree.com/teamunicorn.html

My IPB forum that was on ForumForFree's server 3 is also not coming up still - it just redirects to the main www.forumforfree.com homepage now.

I hope the IPB forums can be brought back online as well today. I look forward to your management, your support looks good.

I wasn't aware of Forumer taking over the ForumForFree forums until my site was down yesterday and thru a lot of searching found the info here. From reading other threads, I am very much appreciative of Forumer doing all the work to transfer the forums and support them. I hope the process goes smoothly and the final kinks on the s2 and s3 hosted forums gets worked out. Thanks again!

The boards are now back and running. Thank you.

For some reasons the META declaration with character encoding in my board wrapper does not work anymore:

<META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">

Instead of ISO-8859-1 the encoding UTF-8 is now always chosen by the browser, no matter what the META says. And so half of our board content is now not readable, unless one re-sets manually the encoding in the browser everytime a new page is displayed.

The board is back up but any click to get to a thread results in a SQL error.

Also, the ACP redirects to the FFF main page.

My forum is up. http://p2.forumforfree.com/flyingpig.html But the swedish letters å, ä, ö (a, a, o with dots abowe) are gone. instead there is different signs HELP

This results from the same problem with the encoding as described in my post above.

Could it be some settings on the new server of Forumer.com?

I have also the S3forumforfree message board, I was reconfiguring for last few days. Today I try to access and all I get is Forumforfee home page??? is there problem??

We all appear to have the same problem at the moment. All forums on S2 and S3 are redirecting to the Forum For Free homepage.

We are anxiously awaiting a fix from our new hosts at Forumer.com. I'm sure they won't let us down.

Hi,

It seems that my forum pages are forced to UTF-8, although in each page source I have a line saying:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=gb2312" />

All Chinese characters are shown as "??" (including those in forum's template).
