I am a bit confused as to when the Forumforfree forums will be up and running on these servers...

You post an ignorant message stating that there will be a "prolonged downtime", and actually didn't even post your full name in the message, Limez, very professional. Some of us had less than six hours to inform our forums, and some (mine included) have over a thousand members.

To be honest I like this service much better, you offer more, the support seems better, and it has a nice feel to it. So, not to sound like I'm being rude or nagging, I am but, put yourself in my position, I am quite worried that now it will be over a week and I will lose some of my members because the ones who didn't catch the last minute message before the forum went down will think that its gone for good.

I know you took over the company but still, plz explain in more detail, it says nothing on your site, I found no posts here and I think I deserve to know, I did not pay for the forum but you are making money of the ads nonetheless, money you would not be making from me without my forum. It can take hours or days to tranfer the data because there is gigs of it, I know. But is that all? Do you have to redesign and find a way to work everything in here, or, is everything planned out already?

And will I have to worry about bugs with your servers, like some of my coding causing problems on your servers that didn't on the other one?

Is my URL going to change and, if so, will there at least be a redirect from the old one? There is alot of questions and I think that the thousands of Forumforfree owners that you bought out deserve an anwer ASAP, should have been answers already but, all we really got was about one paragraph on our forums, just several hours before they went down.

So about how long? plz at least give us that. I was on p2.Forumforfree, which I believe was the first.

For some reason I did not see all of this at first, originally I thought I would have to post this in the phpbb support forum but I found my way in here, did not change the initial message as I just copied it and pasted again. I see that it says they will be down today and tomorrow, will it be back sometime tomorrow, or the day after that, so closer to three days?

Sorry for getting confused, I am new to the forum here, honestly just didn't see it. Thanks for having us.

You know, aquiring a company cannot be done in a matter of hours. It is a couple day long at least process. Be patient we will hopefully have your forum's server in our data center by tommorrow.

If you have questions please post them as #1) Question Here. And I will gladly answer them.

Well I understand that but at the time I made MY post the details were sketchy, I was left with words like "prolonged downtime", etc. Leaving us to guess? lol. Now I see that its sometime tomorrow hopefuly. I didn't know that at the time and I know all about this stuff, I have no other reason to use this forum other than my forum is down, just wanted to know when its going to be back. Now I have an idea. Thanks.

We took over FFF after it was hacked and its harddrive crashed. So, if we didn't do this, your forum with FFF would most probably be completely lost forever.
