Fair warning: this will be a long post.

My name is David Grim. My wife and I are the owners of NEARsports.com in Arkansas. Our forums are/were provided by ForumForFree.

We have the largest and most popular fourms in the entire ForumForFree system. They are currently down, but I'll get to that in a minute.

We have had the WORST customer service from FFF than from any other company of any kind I have ever done business with IN MY LIFE. Suport requests were ignored. Requests to purchase my files so that I could host my own forums were also ignored. When we voiced our concerns on their old support forums, we were banned from them. When many many more customers began doing the same, they took down the support forums altogether.

Then FFF removed any contact information that existed anywhere off of the internet entirely. The only thing that remained was some lame support ticketing system. Support requests submitted there were also ignored.

Until this morning, we were actively looking for a way to leave FFF altogether. Now we find that the company has been purchased by you guys. I have several questions that will help us determine whether or not we will remain as customers.

1. What country is your company based in?
2. Will you make your phone number available to me?
3. Will we as FFF forum owners be given the option to remove Google ads from our forums?
4. Will support requests be handled in a timely manner?
5. Our forum is currently down. When will it be back up?

I need answers to these questions as soon as possible. Our continued business depends on wht the answers are.

We await a response.

Nevermind. There is a rule in your Terms Of Service that we are unable to comply with. We will need information on aquiring our files in order to host our own forums.

I am sorry to hear that you have chosen not to use Forumer.

Unfortunately, we are unable to give SQL databases files to any of our members. This is common with free forum providers. I am sure this is not what you wanted to hear but I am afraid that this is Forumer's policy.

This is a bad solution but better than none. You can download with winHTTrack website copier to get it to your hard drive. Then I guess manually cut and paste.

We would be glad to stay. However, there is an item in your Terms Of Service that FFF did not have. If we could be given a grandfather clause, we can talk about staying. Our initial concerns would still need to be addressed though.

Whatever we decide, it needs to be decided immediately. Our forum is currently down, and I will have to move on to other options if these issues are not addressed within the next few hours.

I don't mean to piss in anybody's Wheaties here, but we really do need immediate assistance with this. Our business is crippled without our forums.

My question was not directed to you, nor do I require or welcome any input from you.

Mods here have a life. Give us a chance to respond.

Forumforfree is no more. Their ToS may have been different but this is forumer and you need to follow forumer ToS. These will not change for anyone.

Will you at least get my forums back up and running and leave them up for about a week so I can redirect my members?

The forums should be up and running tomorrow. All the forumforfree forums are being moved to forumers datacenter. This is a long process but should be finished soon.

I would like the opportunity to speak/meet with Limez to negotiate our continued business with your company. From what I gather, Forumers.com is located in St. Louis. I am 5 hours from St. Louis and I can make arrangements to meet whith the owner tomorrow. Or, if he would prefer, we can have our meeting via telephone.

Whatever we are going to do, we need to decide on that course of action today.

You just know I'm right and your putting yourself ahead of everyone else. You don't respond me because you can't answer without admitting that that is true. lol.

1. What country is your company based in? United States, Saint Louis.
2. Will you make your phone number available to me? No it will not.
3. Will we as FFF forum owners be given the option to remove Google ads from our forums? For a paid fee, most likely.
4. Will support requests be handled in a timely manner? Forumer strides itself on fast, superior support
5. Our forum is currently down. When will it be back up? Tommorrow hopefully.

Also, to be fair you really should change you tone. We are all volunteers here, we do not get paid anything from this. Forumer is provided as is based on our TOS. Thanks.

Sincerly,Ryan 9500 Fbucks donated to worty causes so far. More Coming! PM ME TO LINK EXCHANGE!!!!
