well, if it was a general question, it usually takes very little time, when i report a post, because, either Attitude, Winnopeg, or Edwin are mostly online, when I come online.

Even if, let say, the Spam is here for a maximum of 6 hours, it doesn't matter. Everyone here is intelligent enough to distinguish between spam & real content.

I only posted this because a mod said they where ...... bussy giving help and removing the spam. Don't always think bad of people for an idea. Ijust volunteered to let them know people actually wanna help out.

About the time it takes for a spam post to be removed??? well it depends. Somethimes fast, somethimes slower. But nowhere near ours.

Let me just be clear with this topic. I have no complain about the time spam is on this boards nor to the current mods, I am not powerhungry, infact I think there would be more people suitable. All I whas trying is to make it a litle easier for the current mods. That's all

Ramuh has a point like on my avi contest it took 19 minutes to take out the spam but sometimes it happenes in 2 minutes.

I don't think we need another group for just removing spam...we don't even get that many spam bots here. Lately, there has been about 1 spam report every 2-3 days on here.

Deleting spam really doesn't take time out of my day either. It takes like 2 seconds to delete a post. Not a big deal that we need a whole new group for that.

A whole 19 minutes?

So the proposal is to create a new group of moderators, with at least 6 from every time zone just to reduce a time from 19 minutes. That's sensible

It totally depends on when a moderator is online, I normally see Kurisu 1-2PM GMT, Edwin 5-6PM, Attitude 9-12PM, Pandemix 4-5PM and later on, Problem Child and Winnopeg - I do not know.
