Default Global accounts?

Will global accounts ever be created here? It might be a good idea, even a paid account system as well. A paid account that would be ad free on any forumer board and their visits wouldn't go against hits on paid boards.

Also, if I go with a paid board, do the google bots count as 'hits' since they do visit a lot?

An account that once I set it up with forumer it will work on any forumer board as opposed to each board having a separate local account.

That would mean mass spam takeover.

Yes, and then there would be no point in offers, as majority of the offers here are for forumer boards.

If people have it set up that users need to activate their account, no guest posts, it shouldn't cause spam. Like what ezboard has, users have an option to do either a local account or global.

The advantage, if it were ever considered, a user could have a paid membership to cut ads on any board they view and their visits wouldn't count against another paid boards views. Or just a global membership without a paid option so one didn't need to set up an account each time. Might help in linking boards together more as well. It's just a thought. This is the first place I never saw a global account option and it was a little surprising. Probably just because I was used to it.

It would be two different things but could be used together. Global account one wouldn't need to re-sign up if they visit another board, it would help link communities better as well which could help in promoting boards. Then a paid option for either local or global account, say $10 to $15 a year that would make any board appear ad free to the user with the paid account... if they visit a paid board their visit would count against the board.

It would be a lot of work and imo would be risky because if anyone decided to hack into your account whilst you were trying to login you would be stuffed. Some people might think that you are a pest and ban you from their forum altogether.
