Firstly sorry if this had been posted before . I had try searching for similar threads but cannot find any so I decided to make this.

Do you think its possible to make a Thanks feature ? Like if someone post useful things , another person can Click the Thanks button at that person's post and the person will be thanked .
And his records below his avatar will also showed Thanked ? in ? posts.
The first ? stands for how many thanks had that person received in total while the second ? stands for how many of his/her posts had been thanked.

Kind of like on Facepunch where you can rate posts. Example: Disagree, funny, smart, artistic, agree, etc.. Then under the users siggy/in their public profile it says how many of each they have received, and on which posts they go with (Example: Funny->

x5, Disagree->

x7.)
I think it would add a whole new dimension to posting and to the forums

It's like the ModtheSims forums, where people with famed creations are thanked. It would be useful for forums with support and the like, but I could see it being a somewhat useless feature on others.

So you basically want a reputation system?

If you have an IPB forum, you can get a code in fMods (Powered by Invision Power Board) but you need to register to see it.

It would be great for all support forums you know? like if someone answers your query, you can just hit the rply button, and have an automatic thank counter of something.

There is a rep system, so that could and should be put to use.
