I agree that in theory all members will recieve the same support, in theory. But in reality I am pretty sure fSupport will be pressured to go to the needs of the support questions from the premium members, as opposed to the support questions from a regular non-paying member. After all, the premium one is paying, and they could threaten to release their "premium" membership.

On the income issue, Forumer would hardly be getting net profits from the premium members, especially ones who pay by fbucks(who I will get to in a moment). If premium membership contains ad removal, then Forumer will be losing money they gain from Google for having ads on the different forums. It is different with fbuck adremoval since the cost is so high, and someone either has to post or be active a ton, or pay forumer. But with premium membership they may be bringing in $25 per person per year for it, but they would be losing all the google ad money, which I am guessing is a lot per forum since removing 30,000 ads is $5.

Now onto fbucks premium service. While I think that is an awsome idea, especially since I don't want to shell out hard cash for it. But think of this, ad removal by fbucks is 1 fbuck per 1 page view. Premium will have unlimited page views. Meaning premium costs, just ad costs, will be too high for most Forumers.

Oh, and think of the howling that will result when a feature doesn't work on a forum. Oh my gosh. Look at how much we complain now, when we get a paid service in our hands and it doesn't work there will be a ton more complaining. And I am sure Forumer, and espeically fSupport doesn't want that on their hands.

And the biggest reason of all for not having premium paid membership is.... Forumer will have to change their slogan/motto!

All i think that Paid Users should have is like a domain, no adds, database maybe some more for like $10 a month, something like that be cool.

Which would add up to 60,000 fbucks a month, or 720,000 fbucks a year. Or 3 times as much as the richest user currently has(aside from Limez). Have fun with that!

A database certainly won't happen. Because of the way forums are hosted, it's simply not possible.

As far as support is concerned, the only way anything would change would be if premium users were given another method to request support, which I can't immagine.

Please do not PM me for support.

I cant pay it... I am 13. If you have to pay I am out, along with a LOT of members in here. Then why not just go get your own paid forum from another host?

They're only talking about OPTIONAL paid hosting. If Forumer adds PAID hosting, then FREE hosting would still be available.

Been there, destroyed that.

Good, then I think that is a good idea. I will have to wait till I'm older to get a paid forum!

That would still be against Forumer TOS.
