Today I visited a hosting forum to get some web hosting from them. I noticed that all the members who havent already changed their signatures have a automaticly set signature. I got to thinking that this would be good for forumer to have this. Its just a idea. I have made up a example of a set signature that I have put together.

(Dont know why its only putting lines under certain ones)

What are your thoughts on this? Good or Bad? Why?

PS - Correct me if im wrong, but vBulletin can do this, correct? It was on a IPB 2.1.x

Thats a good idea Jake. I wonder if Limez would do anything like this. However I do not know if it is a feature in vB. Mark or Limez may know for sure.

Yea, im sure even if it isnt a default feature on vBulletin it wouldnt be hard to add.

It should works universally, provided that you use the correct PHP.

Moridin, keep in mind that IPB 1.3, IPB 2.1, and vB 3.5.4 are relatively different coding wise. Notably, vB doesn't use the <if> statements (as far as I can tell) so it would be slightly different.

Also remember that fMods is for Forumer Forums, but not for vB forums. Instead, Limez should use THIS modification. Note: Unless you are logged in -AND- are a valid vBulletin Customer, you cannot see any codes on their vBulletin.org website for security reasons.

Personally, I feel this is a bad idea. It will drive you insane when 1/2 of Forumer has the same sig, trust me on that.

Personally, I feel this is a bad idea. It will drive you insane when 1/2 of Forumer has the same sig, trust me on that.
