Well, a lot of people have been complaining lately about not having the Board Wrappers for many reasons. I know that it holds the copyright and ads, but I might have found a solution for this.
At IF they have the ''<% BOARD %>'' un-removeable. So what I'm thinking is to have something like this: ''<% COPYRIGHT %>'' and ''<% ADS %>'' ... if that can be done, then we can make it un-removalable, and members can have their Board Wrappers! It shouldn't be to hard, seeing as what Limez did so far.
It will make Forumer even greater than it currently is! (I didn't think it was possible. o_0) This idea has been brought to me by webworldx at FMC. (The idea has been tweaked though.) Tell me what you guys think!

Limez can hardcode the ads and copyright into the core files/

Yeah.. I don't understand why he won't enable them!

IPB easily allows for certain tags to NOT be removed. If you tried to remove <% COPYRIGHT %> in ANY version of IPB, you would get "You can't remove that, silly!". The same concept can be applied to the Forumer copyrights and ads. As Snat mentioned, it wouldn't be hard for Limez to stick them in the core files. He probably stuck them into the wrappers because the mass forum modification allows you to easily edit the board wrappers for all your forums.

Yeah but i don't understand why someone would bother to remove the Ads or copyright

People want to make their forum look good. Removing the huge copyright letters and the ads, can make it look more appealing. That's how it is...

THey are not huge, they are relatively small. However, just get norton internet security and disable the ads and you will have a much better Forumer experience.

I just got it last weekend, and I must say its awesome!

But compared to other hosts, the copyright is very big.

Board Wrappers would allow alot more skinners to forumer, and I think it's essential to have a customabillity advantage over others.
