well, i think its unfair that IPB can post attachments and PHPBB can't...

so why dont forumer use attachment mods for phpbb forum ??
im sure it would be nice.

because forumer is using the same core of phpBB, so maybe hard to add mods

we could theoritically make this mod, much work, but can be done.

but how much demand is there for this?

aren't people using sites like filehive.com to host images nowadays?

Limez, I think the phpBB users would like to be able to upload files to their forum, simply because it's faster and easier. Sure, you can go to filehive.com to host images, youtube for videos, filefront for zips, rars, and such, psd-up for psds, etc., but that's a lot of running around to different sites on the net to do one simple thing - upload a file for visitors of their forum to download.

And as far as I can see, many phpBB users would like this feature.

I'd say just wait for phpBB 3 (like Bart said). Why put all the effort in making a mod when a new version of a board is almost out? (phpBB does have the upload, so I hear)
