Often Forumer advises administrators to go to FMods to get a mod for a feature that is available
if only Forumer would activate it (like many other free forum hosting services do). Examples:

Theres a mod to allow for larger smilies than Forumer allows but just a small increase by
Forumer and this mod would not be needed.

This smilie would be available on many free forum hosting sites but you need a mod at Forumer...



Although Forumer allows forum users to choose a different skin on their phpBB forums
not so on their IPB forums even though many free forum hosting sites allow for such, but
you need a mod at Forumer...



At FMods theres another mod for such things as adding a gender field upon registration
but this feature is already available in version IPB 1.3 as many other free
forum hosting sites allows but, you will need a mod at Forumer...



Now it might seem that I am really bitching about the lack of features at Forumer but I would perfer to stay with Forumer since and in spite of the troubles with server 4, I believe the support is generally better.

With a few small tweaks of the software many of these mods would be unnecessary and would make a big difference in the usefulness and would allow a better forum experience for forum users if Forumer would just activate these features.

Since many smaller and lesser supported free forum hosting sites, who I would guest also have less capacity, allow these features it could not be that Forumer deactivates these features because of server load.

So I am asking, while Forumer is upgrading server 4 and making other changes to improve their free service to all of us that appreciate Forumer support and their free hosting service, why not activate these features and make the "Forumer experience" more productive and enjoyable. I'm sure that many others, besides myself, would be very appreciative.

I agree 100% so I ask the powers that be (limez) why don't you at least activate these three features that I have mentioned in my original post?

If not, why not?

He wants multiple skins, and he made more points than just a multiple skin chooser. I think some features on forumer are restricted, like board wrappers.
