Default One payment to disable Ads

Like I said in a misplaced post:

Quote:
Why do I have to pay 10 bucks every month just to keep ads away. I'm getting sick and tired of this, especially because it's based on page views. What kind of crap is that? You know how fast my forum runs out of page views? One crawling from google bots and I'm through, and if they don't cause loss of page views, then I must have a big community. I would really like to voice my concern because I don't like this constant pay issue. I would prefer if we could pay forumer once, around $30 or whatever you want, to permanently remove ads. PLEASE! I don't have the money to throw around like this and I don't want ads on my forum!

I'm sick and tired of this. Please respond.

~Dan
So please consider a single payment to disable ads, before I lose all my hair at the age of 20. (I've seen other forum providers charge $5 just to get rid of ads forever.

Thanks.

~Dan

I dont think its a good idea because:-

1) What if your forum is not as successful & you've to shut down earlier - Unfair for you.
2) What if your forum is more successful & you get to have more ad less page views than you planned & paid for - Unfair to Limez & Forumer.

Thanks & Regards
Maneel

If it would be a one time fee and Limez oks it then expect it to be really expensive.

......

Think about it, what you are asking does not make sense!

Everyone would pay for permenent ad removal and then after that money is gone limez will have no income from forumer!

Just pay a years worth of adremoval and forget about it, forums dont usually last longer then 3-4 months anyway.

I'm sorry, but the ads are very intrusive, and really stand out on a dark template. Most of your reasoning is very unfair. Let's all remember that these forums used to advertise ad free boards. This is the least Limez could do to thank us for our patience in accepting ads.

It is not fair to have a user create a community relying on ad free boards, and then have that taken away so suddenly WITHOUT the ability to take our database. It's a trap, in a marketing sense. If it was advertised that forumer would remain ad free and then suddenly change to have a fee to remove ads, I wouldn't have joined. Therefore, this is an example of very poor business ethics.

Please understand this.

~Dan

No body ever said that Forumer was ad-free... They just said that you can use the virtual money you make to get rid of them...

Limez needed to pay expenses, and he uses ads.
