yeah I guess so.

But I get responses in 3-5 minutes with my host so its not that hard to believe. and this is by their support ticket system.

I just can't imagine the servers being at limez's house. Servers need air conditioning and tons of other stuff.

I have my doubts that one can call tech staff at 3 o'clock in the morning and they fix everything in just 3 minutes, obviously everything depends on a push of a button...

The Planet's HQs are in Texas, my observations show that forumer (Limez) residents on the west coast.

+ If the problem was at TP I'm sure they'd have resloved it by now.

Limez may have remote control of them, so he can shut them down from his computer etc. And restart them, and access all the info.

But he doesn't have the physical object in his house.

I never said the servers are in his garage, c'mon, I only stated that if he wants he can deal with the problem as he's done that before not once...

The servers are not out of his reach...

yes, I believe limez would have shell access to his servers which is just like being right in front of the computer.

no limez does not, the server and backbone is provided by the planet, if not that ip address would be something else. Limez probably has remote access to the server, but they dont reside in his house. If a server goes down, where he cannot access it, he probably has a phone number to their 24 hour support as this is a hosting firm and will have 24 hour support just in case things do go haywire at 3am.

BTW i can remotely restart my web servers from work or anywhere else with the remote access software and little command like "apache -k restart" would restart the server............
