er... i got a suggestion... but im not sure where to post this, so i post it here. well, i suggest that make the forum ads auto suit to our skin color and font color... this will make the forum with dark skin or whatever skin look nicer...

Sorry, this cannot be done. Google puts the ads on there, and we can't change which ones appear and which don't.

erm... i mean like if image ads still remain the image... just when coming out text ads, make the ads auto suit to our skin color(maybe bg color) and text color... i didn mean that change the ads, just wan say that make the text ads color changable...

i think that requires of mod maybe to fix (Somesite has a mod for their google ads). It maybe in this part of the CSS script though.

I would not think so. They would not leave the ability to mess with the ad's within our control panels. The reason i think it was there is because of the skin you showed with the background. Normally most of those skins are just css scripts, so its all within that css sheet. That appears to be anything to do with the google ads, and reading the code looks like it would effect the link colors and background colors too..

So far Google ads inserted by Forumer.com (even in this vBulletin-driven forum) use this HTML / JavaScript code:

All google_color_* variables are customizing the colours of ads. Take a look at the ads below the menu line in this forum (switch off the ad-blockers for a minute ). The background color (green) perfectly matches that one of the forum! So it is possible! I've changed the colours by editing the HTML source and reloading from cache and it worked as well.

This can be done but may not be easy. It requires an additional table for each skin with ad's parameters and a check what skin is currently used or user fields in ACP to select preferred colours (white on white ) because some skins allow to change their colours... Fortunately for me DAJ_Glass skin has already white background, so the ads (on white backround) blend with my forum's skin.

If I remember correctly, editing Google's code is illegal You've got to use them to swich the color.

you can switch the colors and its been done before by other forums. I dont think its in that part of the code i posted, but its possible.

They talk about it there, but it maybe on the server..... I had another forum though phpbbfree or something that actaully gave you 6 choices to pick from for color of the google ads. So i know that editing is possible
