| Learned Forumer ![]() | fHQ. F.A.Q. A lot of users have asked the same questions in the past so we thought wewould group the answers in one topic ![]() Reputation What is reputation? In each post that a user makes you can see a number of little green or red blocks. The more green blocks a user has the better their reputation is. The more red ones they have the worse it is. A grey block means that the user hasn't yet made a reputation for themselves. Any user can give any other member positive or negative reputation depending on whether they like a post or not. How many rep points do you start with You start with 10 rep points, although this can go down or up, depending on your quality of your post, and other members feelings of your post. How many rep points do you need to add another rep block? 1 rep block – 10 points (default) 2 rep blocks – 100 rep points 3 rep blocks – 200 rep points No one else has reached over 3 rep blocks. How many rep points do I need to go into the red? People with a negative number of rep points get red blocks. This is a sign that your posts are annoying people and should be taken as a message to improve the quality of your posts or to stop being mean. If you have a -100 rep points then you will incur 2 red rep blocks. Either way you should improve before the moderators notice you ![]() What if someone has given me negative rep for no reason? In short; nothing. Moderators will not deal with this but, as long as other people like your posts, it shouldn't matter that much. Can I find out who gave me a rep? No, this is not possible as it would take the fun out of the system. You are allowed to leave your name if you like to, but if a user hasn't then there is nothing that you can do. If a comment is really abusive then please PM any fSupport and we will see what we can do. Grey rep? Green rep is good for you. Red rep is bad for you. Grey rep doesn't actually effect you at all. It is grey because the user who repped you does not have a high enough post count (50) to make an impact. Where do I find out how many rep points I have? You can view your rep points and the last 5 rep comments received in your User CP. Can I see reputation beyond the last 5? No, we suggest you check it often. How can a user rep? If you see a post and want to give it reputation (good or bad) then click the little scales and fill out the form. ![]() How can I say thanks for this guide? Well, try out the rep features you have just learned by giving me a positive rep ![]() Last edited by Wild Cat; 06-29-2008 at 10:55 AM. |

| Hem Hem ![]() ![]() | fTrader We felt the need to make a guide on fTrader, because many people ask about, what is fTrader?, what does it do? etc. What is fTrader? fTrader is an indicator of how good your deal was, and how the buyer felt.. It is an eBay Style Feedback, so people can leave positive or negative feedback, for your transactions in the fSwap Meet. What does the number beside the fTrader stand for? The number near the 'fTrader' is the number of unique transactions made, and when the buyer or seller leaves you an fTrader. The higher your fTrader, the higher the successful number of transactions made in the fSwap Meet. If you would like to view more information about a users fTrader, you may click the number inside the (). This displays your feedback score, positive feedback (in %), your recent tradings, and your trader comments. ----------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- How do I find out how many fTrader points someone has? You may view a users profile, or a users post, to view the amount of fTrader points someone has. If you want to view further information from a users profile, then click on 'View all feedbacks for {insert username here} How do I get an fTrader? Firstly, you must participate in a deal in the fSwap Meet area. After once the deal is complete, you may leave an fTrader by clicking on the users point bracket in the transaction thread. You must take part in a deal in the thread, because you need to submit a URL of where was taken place. After, the user may leave you an fTrader once the deal is complete, otherwise you may leave a Private Message to request an fTrader, or leave a post in the thread only if the user cannot access the PM system. You’ll get this PM notification once someone gives you a feedback, and you can click the “on this page” link to view the rating summary. ----------------------------------------------- ![]() ----------------------------------------------- You, as a buyer or seller do not have to give feedback, as it is voluntary, however it is good practice as it informs other users of how successful the users deals are. How do I give an fTrader? You need to finish a transaction, before leaving an fTrader. After, you may leave a positive or negative fTrader, depending on how successful the deal went. 1) Click the fTrader number of the member you want to give an fTrader to. 2) On the page of the fTrader number, click the “Submit Feedback For insert username here” 'Insert username here' stands for the user who you are giving feedback to. ----------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- 3) You will now see a form, which you must in fill in correctly. Make sure you put in the comments exactly what you feel so other users can see as well. Once you have completed the form, click on the “Submit Reply” button to send your feedback. ![]() Your feedback has now been given! To view your feedback given, look at his fTrader page, you may view if you have given a positive/neutral or negative fTrade, and your comment given. The number displayed in his fTrader, will have changed depending on the type of feedback given Positive = +1 Neutral = No change Negative = -1 Other information To cut down on fTrade abuse, only your first feedback given will affect the users visible fTrader number. Although, you can view their full feedback, regardless by looking on the fTrader page, and viewing the number next to, 'Total positive feedback:' If you do receive an unlawful fTrade by another person, please contact one of us (fSupport), and we will do our best to review the situation and revoke the unlawful fTrader given. I don't want rep anymore. You may discuss the F.A.Q in this thread. Thanks. Last edited by SawanM; 07-30-2008 at 10:14 AM. |

| Elite Forumer ![]() | fBucks What are they: fBucks are the Forumer.com currency How to get them: The current Forumer.com rate you can buy fBucks for is 30 000fBucks for $5 -you can buy them through a link in your admin panel (fSettings -> Purchase Forumer Buck$ and follow the steps...... you will need to have a PayPal account to be able to buy them) -you might get them cheaper from the members in our fSwapmeet section. -you can earn them by completing deals in the fSwapMeet section... (please read the Rules before you post there) -Finally you can earn them by going to your AdminCP -> fSettings -> Get Forumer Buck$ for FREE...... and complete a deal............ or..... by clicking the fContribute link on your forum (which is placed on your forum's footer - see picture) and completing a deal ...anyone can do this, even members on your forum can click on the link and do a deal and that way contribute to your forum...... the fBucks will automatically be added to your forum's Buck$ Balance (which you can check on the top of the fSettings page in the admin CP-> Account Information) ![]() You will not earn much by posting though each post will give you some fBucks, it's a very low amount and we WILL remove the spam posts ............and if you spam a lot you are risking an infraction or even a ban... What can I do with them: On this forum you can use fBucks to buy things from other members like posts to boost the activity on your forum, graphics like banners, signatures or avatars you can even buy ready made forums..... as I've said take a look at our fSwapmeet section and you will get an idea what you can use them for. Please read our fSwapmeet Rules carefully before you post any deal there. On your forum you can use fBucks for Ad removal (AdminCP ->fBuck$ & Ads....... it cost 1fBuck/page view) or for purchasing fChat. (AdminCP -> fSettings -> fChat... it costs 30 000fBucks/1month; 70 000fBucks/3months and 100 000fBucks/6 months) Sell them......... if you have too many fBucks and have no use for them you can cash them up by selling them to other members in our fSwapMeet section... (please read the Rules before you post there), usually people sell them at a better rate than the forumer.com rates are but the exact rate is always between the seller and buyer...(supply and demand) You will need to have a PayPal account to be able to receive money from the other person. Transfering fBucks: You can transfer fBucks between members on this forum by clicking on the Send fBuck$ » link in everyone's profile under the avatar then filling the form (amount and reason) and clicking on the "Purchase" button. (there will be a small fee (1% for the transfer) You can also put your fBucks to the Bank........ do that by clicking on the "fStore Menu" link on the top of the forum (you get a drop down menu and click on the Bank) Scroll down and on the bottom you get the choice to deposit or withdraw your fBucks from the bank. In the bank you also get an 1% interest every month so if you are not planning to use them for any deal it is worth putting them there... They are also safe from the Tiefs when you put them in the bank. You can transfer fBucks from your fHQ account to your forum (or to any other forum) by clicking on this link...........fill in the forum name (only the forum name part of the url: http://forumname.#.forumer.com) and amount you want to send (minimum amount is 500fBucks) and click on "Transfer" You can only transfer fBucks which are not in the bank....... you need to withdraw them before you try to transfer otherwise it will not work). To transfer fBucks from your forum to your fHQ account (or any other member's fHQ account) go to the AdminCP -> fSettings -> Transfer fBuck$ to your fHQ account -> fill in the form (amount and user name you are sending them to) and click on "Transfer fBuck$" The minimal amount to transfer is 5000 fBucks If there are any other unanswered questions about fBucks you may have please feel free to ask them in this thread. Thanks. Last edited by Wild Cat; 08-15-2008 at 05:51 AM. |
