Hello. This is regarding buying in the sites and forums forum. Before I noticed that members could pay fBucks to buy other free hosting forums. I have recently realized that the recent requests for selling/buying free forum (from other comapnies) have been locked etc.

I was just wondering. Can we sell other forums in the fBucks forums?

I cannot seem to find the rules in the stickies.

Could you point me to the thread in question which was locked?

In general we do not promote other free forum hosts...

It seems to be a mix, I remember there used to be some threads locked because they are selling forums on another free forum host;, but there are others where the deal has gone smoothly without any problems.

I have looked through the fBuck Services rules. I have not see any rules saying that you can or cannot sell none forumer forums. Can someone please just let me know the answer?

Well, they were locked because they were selling in real money, and not fBuck$.

This issue was discussed in a staff meeting here a while back, and if I remember correctly we voted to disallow the selling of non Forumer boards in the Swap Meet. It was never added to the Swap Meet rules however.

I will run this by Kurisu one more time and see if he remembers.

Hi,

This was brought to the attention of todays meeting and we have decided that:

Selling forums that are hosted FOR FREE by a competitor to forumer is NOT permitted.

Hmm. So that would mean if we have forums that are hosted on free PHP web hosting and paid hosting we are allowed to sell them?

As they are no way free forum providers?
