IPB 2.3 is paid, IPB 1.3 final was the latest version that was free until they made their services paid. Forumer cannot upgrade since it costs around 100 dollars for each forum, not a pretty bill if you ask me.

Forumer will never upgrade past our current version of IPB unless some sort of paid membership is offered someday in the future, though I really doubt that will ever happen.
