I think it is a cool idea and if used well can be a great part of the forums. So here are my ideas to make more customiseable. If it isn't custimisable, we might aswell have a link to an outside chathost and use a chatroom there.

1. You should be able to decide what color it is. We don't really want a forumer style chatroom in a blue or purple forum. It might even be cool if it follows your skin. But it should be your forum style chatroom.

2. No Ads. I saw them when I clicked on the demo link. If you are going to hve ads. please let us be able to take them out with fBucks. The Ads. make the chatroom look in my opinion ugly and bad quality.

3. I love the idea that there are many different rooms in one forum chat feature. I hope you can custimise them aswell. As in with passwords and chatroom name.

4. Where it says Chatroom Help, I think you should be able to change or add stuff in that panel. I like that the info on there shows you how to do things in the chatroom and is general info, but I am sure that forums would like to add some more info about their forum and some rule or guideline or things they will do with the chatroom. It is better than just posting a topic about it, because all you have to do is click on the button and there is everything you want to know!

5. Chatrooms are fun and all, but they can defeat the purpose of a forum. Why have a forum when you can live chat with other people and get your answers almost in seconds. This drawback usually effects small forums. So I believe we should have some limit on the chatroom. Like deciding if it will be open or not. Banning or suspending people from it, deciding who are operators or admins there. (I hope that once you are a operator, all you have to do is go into the chatroom, not be reassigned or have to do some process)I will probably only have it open on special days or on weekend because I do not want my members to stop posting because they can use the chatroom.

Those are just a few things I thought will make chatrooms more useful and helpful! Thanks for reading, please tell me what you think.

This concept is interesting and it's built right into the forum. I support it and have a couple ideas to add if it's still being upgraded.

Is it possible to allow the premium members to create there own rooms with a specified user limit? You put a price on a room/user limit so it's not a bunch of empty ones.

Automatic spam control. Would be useful and puts less strain on the operators.

If fchat can be embedded in a forum, you can add a login feature that goes directly to fchat from the site instead of logging into forumer.com first. Makes it more accessible.

If and when fChat is offered to the Forumers, it would definitely be embedded and integrated into the forum (like the demo chat here).

It doesn't always work for me, but I find that I can get in more frequently if I wait until a page is done loading before I click the link.

Is there any forum here which is using fchat, so I can have a look at how it is?

I just payed for fChat for my board and received a link for it. However, when I log into the chatroom it tells me "Invalid Room Password".

Did I just waste my money buying something that is not supported? Can I get my fbucks back so I can use them on something that is working?

I'm really confused on the whole concept of how fChat works in the boards.
