I was in there (followed the bright red link on the bottom) and while it would be a neat feature the spam degraded any value that it held. In the hour or so I was in there most of the time was spent watching Attitude have to kick out people who's only contribution to the conversation was the word "Flood" stretched out to the point that it filled the window.

Eventually the server was just closed because I think Attitude got (understandably) tired of seeing "---- You Attitude" spammed repeatedly. Some serious spam control needs to be built in before it's worth it. =/

maybe, we should allow only users with over 10 posts to use the chat.

for some reason, i wasn't log-on in the chat.. It say.. you must registered in the forum to use..

how do i login in the chat..

rsrikanth05 : good idea.. most people might take the chat room as a support room. Maybe its even better if you raised the number of posts required higher.

Yes, on the footer of the forum, there's a link to the Chat next to User CP.

Click on that, and it'll log you in as your forum.com user name. That way, no one will try to impersonate others

I like the new change with the ability to click on the chat through our own forums, and the re-direction. Should cut down on spammers without cutting down on member involvement.

It's not logging me in for some reason. From my forum page I clicked the link at the bottom but showed up as 'unregistered'.

Will every forum be able to set up a room just for its members? I am getting a lot of questions from my members about this.
