| Junior Forumer ![]() | Winnopeg, thank you for the status report. I'm glad to hear my idea with the redirect-thingy is an option for those who haven't had any chance to set up the domain inside their admin panel. However, please keep us updated as no one seems to be too happy about this bug. Thank you and a Happy New Year everybody. |

There are instructions in one of my earlier posts in this thread detailing how to redirect visitors from your domain to your forum, which does not depend on fDomains to work. And no, no updates yet... | |

| Member | I got this code as well I believe. Step 2... no place to input domain names... just the error code 3. This isn't good. I want to advertise my forum... but would REALLY like my domain name FIRST!! Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?? |

| Junior Forumer ![]() | Moonpi11, do you have a website with your domain name, or do you just want your forum to have your domain name? If it is the second, then you are out of luck until the Error code #3 is fixed. If it is the first, then you need to create a link to our forum within your website for the time being. |

| VIP Team | Follow the standard steps for changing the "A" record of the domain (instructions can be found in the stickied topic at the top of this forum), except instead of choosing A record from the drop down box, choose URL redirect and instead of entering in the IP address listed in fDomains, put the URL (http: //yourforum.forumer.com) to your forum instead. |

| Member | Jot another person down with the infamous "Error #3". Can't seem to figure what else to do, but I will try to redirect my site. Sucks that I have a domain again, but no way to complete the setup through fDomains. |

| Member | I wonder what has changed in the forumer configuration that caused this. A friend of mine was in time and is fully able to use his domain name, lucky bastard. (heartillery.org) |
