I am having the same problem on my forum too. It is The Mini [PETS] :: Index. Is there an answer or solution to this problem. Thanks!

I have it too.
My friend has it too, but he was lucky enough to have configured his domain before this error came up.

Well, its every single phpBB board.. and the other forum software they offer you can still use the domain...

Is there anyway to revert back to the previous version of phpBB??? or upgrade it again?

Yes, an update on the status would be very much appreciated.
I configured my domain before the error code #3 bug. But I'm concerned, too, because what could I do if my domain stopped working? E.g. after an upgrade to phpbb 3?

So, I was wondering what one can do...
For the time being, wouldn't it be a good temporary solution for all affected forum-admins to set up "URL Redirect" with their account (when they already bought a domain there, they have a account) at domainexplorer.com ??

I don't think any settings on the forum-admin-panels would have to be done!
So I think this can work?!

DomainExplorer.com - domain name, Web Site Hosting, email, registration

URL Redirect URL Redirect is the standard method for URL Forwarding. When the client types in your domain name they are redirected to the web server that your page is hosted on. The only drawback of this method is as the person is looking around the site the URL that is displayed by the browser is the one of the actual web page, not your domain name. If this is a problem you can use the URL Frame method.

I even tried the Redirect, and it wouldn't even work. I guess its the IP associations to the web software???? if you type in the IP, it doesn't recognize any of the forums....

It worked with another site of mine. When you go to "Record type" and chose "URL Redirect", try it with the name of the forum http://.....x.forumer.com, not the IP.
I can't guarantee anything! I'm not part of the Forumer support team so it's at your own risk. But it's what worked for another website of mine.

Sorry, no update yet. I have no idea what's taking so long.

As for redirecting your domain to your forum, that is certainly an option. Once a user gets to your site they will still be using the forumer URL, but it will at least allow you to use your domain in the meantime.

Please do not PM me for support.

Some of us have been waiting months for this to be fixed, phrex. Apparently, it is in the hands of the coders. I personally don't see how pphb3 will make a difference to this particular issue, but we live in hope!
