For ex.: I bought a domain www.abcxyz.org from a provider in my country. My problem is how to transfer my forum which is set up in forumer.com to this new address www.abcxyz.org
If it is possible to be transferred, I do not know if my forum address always is www.abcxyz.org or http://.......9.forumer.com
and is it possible for me to put advertisments on that?

Q1.A
You have to change the Host IP of your A Records to the IP which your board is using. from your AdminCP go to fDomains and you will see the IP address of your board.

Sorry but we are not allowed to put any paid advertisement... we have a google advertisement link to forumer that keeps our board alive

I understand TOS, but if we have our own paid domain, we are not allowed to put any paid advertisement on that, are we?

Even if we have our own domain we are not allowed to put any paid advertisement. Because we are just using our paid domain for our board to have a name by pointing the Host IP to the forumer. So we are still using and still connected to forumer.

You got it! and you dont have to worry about your members... there's a setup that even your members typed in http://yourboard.#.forumer.com will automatically directed to your new domain name.

Just to clear things up, it's a yearly fee and your members will not automatically be directed to your domain. yourboard.#.forumer.com will continue to be fully functional as it is currently, with the domain working at the same time.

What I mean to redirect link to a domain name is through the following scripts under HTML Templates->Board Index Section-> Board Index Page Top... this scripts resulting to directing to your domain name. but ofcourse the original http://yourboard.#.forumer.com is still active.

Depends on what you mean by "paid forums" ?

If you mean Forumer forums with ads removed then no, if you mean a paid host, then ask them

I have never heard of buying a forum at Forumer. You can pay to remove ads and that is all (and add your own domain / subdomain).

If you want to put a paid ad of yours onto your forum, then the answer is you are not allowed as per stated in the TOS.
