| Member ![]() | I thought I would go out recently and buy a domain, and I thought the $8 domain + loads of extras sounded pretty good. Before it was too late, I looked and noticed that the grand total was $36, all those hidden costs. With Forumer, as I remember it, there are no hidden costs beyond a $.25 tax. Plus it's so much easier b/c the instructions in the acp are written very to-the-point for Domain Explorer users. I really wish I had bought the domain from Domain Explorer, and I will with any other forums. But now I'm stuck with this domain that I don't know what to do about, but it's already registered with them. How do I point the DNS to my forum if I'm not using Domain Explorer? And when I do that, and wait a day or so, do I just type in the domain in the space provided and voila? |

| VIP Team | You need to make sure you change the "A" record of your domain - if you're not sure, contact the domain host. Once the domain has been pointed to the IP adress for 24 hours, yes, just type in the domain for step two and click submit. If it worked, the domain will be listed on that page, and you will be able to connect to your forum just fine through the IP adress. |
