Here's how I have mine set up (I'll type your domain instead of mine):

(this is how you do it with Godaddy, might be different with your domain company. Forumer recommends domainexplorer for easy dns customization)

1. In the dns settings, click "add new A record"
2. Enter these settings (check your admin cp for the correct ip address)


3. Turn on "forwarding" for your domain (nbacorner.com) - foward it to "http://forum.nbacorner.com/index.php?act=home"
4. Wait 24 hours, then add "http://forum.hillsforum.com" in you admin cp under "domain setup."

Now your forum's domain will be forum.nbacorner.com, and anyone who types "nbacorner.com" in their browser will be directed to the ip dynamic lite page.
