Default E-mail problem with domain

I recently changed the URL of my board to my own domain. For the most part it went smoothly, but there is one problem.

If a person registers their confirmation e-mail is messed up. There is some wierd things and none of the links are complete. See below for a sample:

As you can see, the "http://forums.tolkienguild.com" is missing from each link. This is a major problem as many users aren't willing to try and figure out the correct URL.

Also, there is the wierd "/sindarin" that occurs at the top and bottom of the page. Can I get rid of them?

My previous URL was http://sindarin.9.forumer.com.
I changed it to http://forums.tolkienguild.com .

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I followed the thread you gave me kyle, but that seems to only apply to phpBB boards. Can anyone fix this? It is a very frustrating problem.

I have an IPB forum, and the bug affects me.

The work-around is to either:
1. Turn off validation, or
2. Manually validate each member

It sucks. But, running these servers is probably very difficult. This is one of those wierd glitches that seems to take forever to fix. I hope limez is still trying.

I strongly encourage everyone to purchase "ad removal" (if you can). If limez can make this business model work, he'll have an easier time making everything run smoothly.

I had the same problem! I was using a subdomain tho: forum.mydomain.com...
The members got the emails with the missing first part of the urls, just the second parts were present: /index.php?bablabla

Then I decided to cut loose the use of the domain and go back to #.forumer.com cuz it worked okay

I'll keep an eye on this problem, if it gets resolved I may go back using a domain...
