| VIP Team | since you already have a domain, you have to either change the NS records to DomainExplorer.com name servers and change the IP of the CNAME or A-Record to the IP given in your ACP's Domain Setup section or use your existing name servers but change the IP to the one given in your ACP's Domain Setup section and you have to wait at leat 24Hrs for the IP to propagate through out the servers in the web and then add the domain using your ACP's Domain setup. Hope that makes sence.. |

| Member | I have registered a domain name with another registrar. It's very recent so I can't transfer it to DomainExplorer.com. Can someone tell me what the nameservers should be so that I can enter them with my current registrar? I need the nameserver names as well as the IP address (which I know I can find on my Admin CP). Thanks! The Starlight Teahouse -- hoshiochaya.5.forumer.com |

Well, one of the reasons we recommend that people register (or move their domains) to DomainExplorer.com is because, with each registration you also get Free premium domain redirection; and all you need todo is just change IP address in the CONFIGURE DOMAIN. In your case, even though we only support domains that are purchased through DomainExplorer.com, you could go on the web and look for redirection service providers and get them to point your domain to the appropriate IP (found in adminCP) | |
