limez put it in the announcements but when I go to it it says

BETA - please do not use this feature yet

Do I use it?

and how does the .com work with the directory?

and I am getting a friend to pay for it so if they cna't pay for it anymore will my forum still be ok?

and...... will the old url still work?

It does say the BETA message, so it would be best to wait until it was out of BETA, in my opinion. About the Forumer URL -- I think you will still be able to use this, but I am not 100% sure.

ok, now you can use this feature.

post here if you get any problems.

you should be able to access your forum using both old and new URLs.

But the new URL (yourdomain.com) will become the offical and all the links in the forum will start with it.

Your site will show in directory. (but your old url will show there)

It should be fine, your friend can buy the domain.

I have cookies fully on and I even tried it in IE

i'm going to go directly to the site if thats ok?

24 hours is a long time to wait.

and http://domainexplorer.com/ is really slow

any new domain registrations take time to become accessible worldwide. We have no control over this. Make sure to change the IP address in CONFIG (see the screenshots if you haven't done it yet)

$5,000 Forumer Buck$ has been deposited into your account. Once ad removal is ready on your server (#5), you will be able to start using your Buck$. (this will happen within the next few days)

so, you should be able to "ADD YOUR DOMAIN"

When I login to the admin cp it changes to the old url when I click login.

well the default URL for adminCP will stay the full server URL. However this is a good thing. Because if something EVER happens to your domain, you will not lose control of the adminCP.

But you shouldn't have any problems.
