Default General Guide

As the trader rating feature is back (for the Swap and Meet forums), here is a general guide on how to use this feature.

This system works like e-bay. If you never used e-bay before, you either buy, sell or trade your goods. Then both buyer and seller leaves feedback after the transaction is finished.

So, we expect everyone to leave a positive feed back if the deal was professionally, and quickly without any problems.

If the transaction had a mistake, but was later made up for, you may leave a neutral rating.

If a transaction totally went wrong, many mess ups, wrong payments, etc, etc, leave a negative rating.

We recommend using your best judgment in determining what rating to give someone.

How do I leave a rating?

Simply click on the profile of the user(s) involved in the transaction, click on "leave trader rating" and leave a rating.

Rules and more information:

You may NOT, EVER leave a negative rating to someone because you hate them, or just because. You may ONLY use the trader rating after you have conducted business with somebody. Users that abuse this will be banned on the spot, no questions asked!

We also highly recommend signing up for fInsurance. Insurance will protect you against false trader rating. This will also reward you if you were scanned, ripped off, etc.

Happy trading!

Default NEW Swap and Meet & Meet Changes. Please Read.

We've made some changes to the Swap and Meet sections in order to decrease the amount of confusion. Unfortunately, there's been many users not following the proper posting formats (but using very un-descriptive thread titles). So we have came up with a better solution. Instead of users posting "posts / registrations" in there thread title, we have activated prefixes for all offers starting today. The prefixes in the Swap and Meet forum consists of the most common deals found. (Such as hire of staff members, sale of domains, etc). The prefix will now be your item description, and the thread title will now be your item price.

So, your thread title will now look like this:

[BUYING][ADMINISTRATOR], f$500 per month

[SELLING][SIGNATURE SPACE] f$250 per link

[SELLING] [WATCH MY VIDEO] f$300 per watch / rate

In your body, you should have a complete, detailed description of your item(s) you are wanting to sell or purchase. That way, there is no confusions.
---

We also have new Sub Forums for all posting registration and forum deals. This includes both selling and buying deals. So, if you want to sell posts, registrations or your forum, please go to SELLING, and vice versa.

There's also some prefixes located in both of these sections. For instance if you are wanting to sell a forum, your thread title will look like this:

[FORUM 1-100 members] asking f$500

If you are buying registrations:

[REG][f$250pr] Up to 10 registrations

pr stands for PER REGISTRATION.

If you want to buy posts:

[post][f$250pp] Up to 10 posts]

pp stands for PER POST

Registrations and posts are to be sold in each now.
---

The reason for the changes, you may ask? We want everyone to use descriptive thread titles, and people haven't been doing so. Descriptive thread titles don't want anyone's time when shopping around. When they see descriptive thread titles, they know what exactly you are selling or buying without clicking the thread. It's better to have a descriptive thread title rather than "posts / registrations" and have no price or anything.

The changes will take a bit to get used too, yes. But we're hoping this will work.

Happy trading!

Forumer Team.
