“I’m a Jew, a lonely Jew ... on the buildup to Christmas”

Well, it is now November and that time has now started which always, always annoys me for many reasons.

For many of my readers, that you will know that next month is Christmas and you are already likely getting ready for the day. Now, I would not say that I would like the day to disappear as it is about the birth of Jesus Christ or whatever you believe in but I would like shops, people and others to remember that not everyone believes in Christ (Or once again, whatever you believe in). Hell, I am sure that many of my readers don’t even think about Christ on that day but still enjoy Christmas.

The things that annoys me is mainly (Due to living in a Christian country) is that everywhere is selling Christmas cards, Christmas presents and basically JUST Christmas stuff. What annoys me yet is when people you know, gives you a Christmas card and does not stop to think if you are even a Christian. While I don’t mind getting Christmas cards or Christmas presents from people, I just don’t want people to think that I am a Christian and that I should give them one back nor do I want to be greeted with “Merry Christmas” ever where that I go.

Now when it comes to my family and religious believes that is gets complex and it ain’t something I want to explain but basically me and my sister are the only Jews in the family and I don’t even have contact with my sister much anymore. Due to me and my sister being Jewish (Or Hebrew depending how you say it, understand it) that on Chirstmas that I am honestly lonely due to my family. This ain’t the case for all the Jewish holidays but there will be another blog post when it gets closer so keep reading

Hell, I think I may be the only Jewish person in Stamford so please don’t tell me that I ain’t “lonely” (Depending on what you mean by “lonely”). Never the less, I must be the lonely Jew in Stamford / South Witham area.

Anyway, for all my readers out there that are Christian, do enjoy the build up to Christmas
