 |  Lost Password Validation not working
I have been having problems for quite sometime now. I have been trying to recover my admin account, and using the Lost Password link and the email it generates I can't change the password of the account.
I have tried this with 3 different accounts and all 3 do the exact same thing.
I recieve the email and follow the link which comes to where I need to enter the new password, but upon continuing I get the following error on the forum: Quote:
Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
The error returned was:
Sorry, the Validation Key is incorrect for this member. Please check the URL or the data you entered into the form. If the error persists, please contact a member of staff to assist you. If this validation isn't recent, it's possible your old account has been removed.
| I have tried both processes listed in the email on atleast 3 or 4 different computers and connection methods, but I end up in the same spot.
I suspect something could be wrong with the Validation process/functions. Could someone please assist. |
