Personally I would love to see those things you discussed, but I also understand that Forumer has had abuse problems with them. And while they can take away the service from just those people, isn't that leaving them open to more abuse? Forumer can get in Federal trouble if they are caught with illegal items running on their servers(which is why there are TOS. And if Limez has seen that these features pose a potential threat like that, I am perfectly fine with them being temporarilly removed.

As for Forced Ad-Removal, where did you get that?! If you decided that you wanted to remove your ads because you didn't like them on your forum, its just that, a free decision, with no external forces forcing you. While I must admit ads are a little annoying, especially when they are about things contrary to what your forum is(a cult ad on a Christian forum?), but they are nessecary. Limez is not Donald Trump(at least I don't think he is, it'd be awsome if he was, though) and he has to bring in income, if not for his job, for paying for the 20 servers that your and my forum's run on.
