Ok, I have been disappointed for a long time and since we have no chance to get our DB, I am stuck here because I have put in a lot of hard work in building my forum. I don't have the time to start over so I figured the least I could do is make it better with suggestions and hopefully I might eventually get that all PHPBB users get when they run a PHPBB forum.

I would like to suggest an option menu that when you start a new forum or even update the one you currently have, you are give options to install mods and features on your forum. Such as

1) Mass E-mails

2) Mass PMs

3) Avatar Galleries

4) Uploadable Rank Image Packages (without the work arounds)

I don't think it is fair to be limited on features PHPBB has to offer. I understand there were reports in the past of abuse from previous customers however those people should be punished and not the current customers. We have done nothing wrong. Please enable these features or give us the option to use them at our own risk. If they are abused, you can remove the individuals forum.

People join a forum at their own risk. If they join some idiots board, they are subject to abuse and of course that isn't fair. It is still a risk. You can leave the forum and/or change your e-mail and the problem is solved. There are many ways to abuse a member in the forums and taking away Mass E-mail/PMs for admins doesn't solve anything. So I ask that you enable it on my board (if not all) as I could make good use of it.

Finally -

5) Do not install packages we don't want (Like Social Bookmarks

) and causing problems on our forums that take months to resolve and even then somethings don't work right. We should be able to order or choose what we want. Especially if we are paying for it. And yes, those of us who want ad-free pages are paying for our forums.

I joined this forum before you had to pay. It was a selling point that it was ad-free without paying. Months later, I have ads I have to remove. So I now have to pay for my forum if I want to keep it ad free and it isn't worth starting all over again because I can't get a DB. So I humbly ask you give us some of the great features back that PHPBB has to offer so those of us who are disappointed can make the best of our situation.
