Forum Hosting - View Single Post - Display custom message when user register

Can we display a custom message when the user is registering for the forum.
The forum is for a group of users that are going their separate way.
I would like to put a message like
"Please register with a name that everyone know you as rather then those use for online chat"

or something like that.
