Sorry if this is in the wrong place but the IPB forums dont have anywhere to cater for my simple questions.

I have v2.0.3 and am purchasing a licence and upgrading v2.1.5 very shortly, before I do I need to know the following and thought that mayeb you guys could help me out.

• If I upgrade, will it be a clean slate in terms of ALL mods as I have many installed and now need rid of them all so I can be far more selective in future?
  
• Will this upgrade cause me of ANY data loss such as posts, members etc...?
  
• Is the upgrade process "safe"? If it messes up, will I lose my forum even if i back up my tables beforehand?
